Abstract
The surgical treatment of flail chest remains the subject of much discussion. Our work consist of a retrospective, descriptive study of 36 cases of flail chest having benefited from surgical fixation. The follow operation was simple in the majority of cases. Although indications remain debated and provided indications are well defined, surgical procedures are simple and allow a benefit to be expected for the patient.
