This study aims to introduce the concept of future cities and the extent of their contribution to achieving the dimensions of sustainable development and this by integrating natural, digital and human systems in the urban environment to provide a sustainable and prosperous future for the city’s residents. The study concluded the importance of encouraging the application of the concept of smart sustainable cities in the Arab world by setting incentives such as reducing taxes on real estate developers who use sustainable technologies that reduce pollutant emissions to air, and encouraging the use of clean energy, especially solar, in homes and transportation networks.
