ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE REALITY OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN ALGERIA DURING THE PERIOD (2004-2019)

This study aimed to identify the reality of small and medium-sized enterprises in Algeria by identifying the extent of their developments and their contributions to the national economy. It should be noted that the State for its part has shown an interest in this sector through the legislation it has promulgated as well as the support and promotion of the institutions set up for this sector by identifying the most important obstacles that hinder the growth and development of this sector. This study led to a set of results, the most important of which is that these institutions in Algeria have experienced a remarkable increase in the evolution of their number, and their importance has been demonstrated by their contribution to job creation, but their the role in exports did not reach the required level despite all the efforts made for promotion.
