DIAGNOSING THE CULTURE OF TOTAL QUALITY AT THE ALGERIAN UNIVERSITY USING THE CRITERIA OF THE ALGERIAN QUALITY AWARD A CASE STUDY OF THE FACULTIES OF ECONOMIC AT THE UNIVERSITIES OF CENTER IN ALGERIA

the study focused on researching the problem of adopting a culture of total quality in the Algerian University, and in this context the evaluation criteria and methodology of the Algerian Quality Award were adopted to diagnose three basic cultures, which are the culture of customer satisfaction, the culture of continuous improvement, the culture of participation and teamwork. The study focused on four faculties of economics chosen from the universities of the center, namely the University of Medea, the University of Algiers 3, the University of Blida 2 and the University of Tipaza. By adopting the interview, the results of the grading of the evaluation criteria were modified and adapted to the university environment to show the spread of these three cultures at levels ranging between medium and insufficient, which imposes on the actors in this sector the inevitability of opening up to modern administrative concepts, and the Algerian Quality award is the best way to do it.
