The Editorial Board of the Journal for Strategic Studies and Political Research, Abou Bekr Belkaid University of Tlemcen, is pleased to present Volume 4, Issue 2 (December 2025). This peer-reviewed issue is the result of a collective academic effort and features scholarly contributions published in Arabic and English.

This issue explores a range of contemporary geopolitical and geostrategic challenges. Among its main themes are global health security in the age of pandemics, the geopolitical implications of the Russia–Ukraine war on energy, and the role of energy as a driver of political stability, illustrated through the TAPI gas pipeline project. It also examines the evolution of energy relations between Algeria and Europe, with particular emphasis on the Algerian–Italian partnership.

Furthermore, the issue addresses several pressing political and social concerns, including irregular migration, the rise of the far right in Europe, and the growing phenomenon of Islamophobia. It also presents a field study on mechanisms for combating human trafficking in Africa, as well as research on the role of local radio in socialization, taking Tlemcen Radio as a case study.

The diversity of topics covered in this issue reflects the journal's commitment to promoting high-quality academic research and encouraging rigorous studies that address strategic issues from local, regional, and international perspectives.
