Abstract
Fantasia : An Algerian Cavalcade proposes a correlation between war and writing as two powers of a similar nature, dialogic and yet contrary, where the write is committed to the exhumation of the memory of the war and the pursuit of a renaissance life after the destruction. The construction of the novel, based on intertextuality and the mise en abîme allows remembering about the war and justifies his recurring back to the inside of the novel.
