Abstract

This study tackles the role of employing the anthropological religious texts in the contemporary Algerian novel.It also covers the patterns and types of these texts within the narrative complying with the recurrent modernist methods in the new Arab narrative discourse.By doing so, this research identifies the main points upon which the religious text is built within the narrative structure,the role of the references used in employing the religious text and its part in spreading the Islamic instructions and individual and social awareness, in addition to the insertion of a new esthetic technique in the contemporary Algerian novel through making use of the religious text anthropology.
