About the Journal

JNPRA publishes high-quality manuscripts of original works in all aspects of natural compounds of plants, algae, microbes, and animals. The journal is peer-reviewed and publishes two issues per year. Authors are encouraged to submit complete, unpublished, original works that are not under review in any other journals. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial examination by the editors for the first step and peer-reviewed by at least two anonymous expert referees for the second step. Biology and Biological Chemistry: Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Phytochemistry.
Medicinal Chemistry: Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Nutrition and Health, Therapeutics, Bioactive Compounds, Detoxification, Biological activities.
Pharmaceutical Formulations: Formulations from natural products, Analysis, Quality Controls.
Agricultural and Food Chemistry: Food Technology, Agricultural and Food Safety, Food analysis.
Applications of Natural Resources: Cosmetics, Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Biopharmaceutical Science, Waste and co-product valuation.
Toxicology: Detoxification, Toxicological medicine, Risk assessment, Safety evaluation, environmental health, Pollution and public health, Waste and co-product valuation.
Traditional Medicine and Ethnopharmacology: folkloric medicine, ethnobotany, ethnopharmacology.

All papers that treated the biological activities of crude extracts are accepted after structure elucidation of active molecules. Papers related to In Silico Design of Bioactive Molecules are welcomed for publication. The paper reporting new compounds and manuscripts describing their biological activity are more solicited for publishing in our journal.

Frequency: The Journal of Natural Product Research and Applications publishes a twice per year (April and November).
