Abstract

Objectif :  This study aims to examine the availability of essential psychological services within the Algerian school environment and how these services are managed in primary schools.

Method :  The study employed a descriptive statistical approach by designing a questionnaire containing twenty (20) items divided into three main dimensions: service indicators, existing disorders, and procedures, in addition to two open-ended questions.

Result:  The findings revealed that existing psychological services are limited and almost non-existent, primarily targeting a small group of students rather than the entire student body. Furthermore, there is generally no school psychologist present in educational institutions, particularly in primary schools.

Conclusuion: Based on these results, a project proposal was developed to enhance the utilization of specialized psychological services within the framework of the applicable legal regulations
